Also consider that given the minority government situation in Canada and the decade rule by the Liberals, many of the Canadian Bureaucrats are still likely loyal Liberals.
You do the Math. Was Obama torpedoed by a slippery wet Willy, under the cover of a Canadian Cold Front? NO probably not. But sure seems to be a strang bit of a Gaff from a normally MUTE Canadian bureaucracy. Did they not realise the problems this would cause for Obama, especially considering the timing of Canada's Gaff?

Canada has a lot to loose now if NAFTA is scrapped. That could be the reason, then again who can trust the Clintons, especially when power is the prize.
Then again the Chinese want to buy everything Canada can chop down or pull out of the ground.
